Class: Tarot Journaling

Course Material: Tarot Journaling is a discussion of the role that journaling plays in our lives as well as in deepening our Tarot work and understanding, the different methods of journaling and how to know which method will best serve your purposes at a given time. Part of the class will include some short exercises that I ask students to complete prior to the actual class. Sharing of this material is voluntary - and I will be doing the exercise right along with you! Class fee includes one of Wren's unique, handmade journals.

Course Material: This class mixes Tarot novices with others who have some basic Tarot knowledge. Students are required to have a standard 78 card Tarot deck of choice, a Tarot journal, Tarot for Yourself by Mary K. Greer (new version) and Everyday Tarot by Gail Fairfield by the first class. An additional packet of materials will be sent by Wren. Other materials will arrive weekly by email. This class covers Tarot from the ground up, including overview of all cards, reversals, journaling and five spreads.

Students completing this class should be able to pass the first level certification criteria for the ABTC.

Bringing that knowledge and turning it into insightful information that you will be able to pull out of the cards building a story with it and turning it into a reading. The spreads you will be learning through this course will start with five cards going through and all the way to a nine card plus spread.

Class: Creating your own Tarot Journal

Course Material: This course starts with the question why create a tarot journal and moves on to explore the different ways to examine the cards as well as other things you might choose to include in your personal journal. The course is delivered by a mixture of lessons to be read, excises to complete, at least 10 journal entries for you to write, samples from my personal journal on the different kinds of entries, group discussions by message board and a CD of bonus material.

Class: Introduction to Tarot Reading

Course Material: This is a course designed for beginners. We begin with a look at the basic structure of a standard tarot deck. From there we will look at each card in the deck developing your own personal keyword list for each card as will as the elemental dignitaries for each card. Parallel to the course you will work in small groups of two or three to use first small portions of the deck to do one-card readings, then three and seven-card reading with the whole deck. The instructor will work with your small group to help you develop your reading skills as you go.
