Winter Wren is a professional Tarot Reader from the Midwest. Her Tarot connection began in 1979. In 1992, her boss at a Chicago newspaper told her she really needed to decide if her career was in newspaper or reading cards. She never returned to the newspaper office after that fateful Thursday lunch. She sees clients in person as well as reading by phone and via Internet. It is not uncommon to find her reading in clubs and coffeehouses as well. In addition to reading the cards, Wren also uses them for meditation, art and creative writing.
Wren taught her first Tarot class in 1989, and has since taught numerous private classes as well as teaching at such places as the Illinois Institute for Technology. She previously attained the rating of Certified Tarot Instructor with the TCB and holds Tarot Consultant credentials from the Voyager School of Tarot.
Wren resides in southeastern Michigan with her partner, Phoenix, and their Maine coon cat clan. Wren holds an AA from Lincoln College, where she graduated Phi Theta Kappa, a BS from Illinois State University and a MA from Ashford University, as well as a hypnosis therapy certification from the Hypnodyne Foundation. Wren takes her Tarot profession very seriously which led her to seek Tarot certification and later to forming this organization with Judi Edgar. She has seen both the best and worst of the Tarot world and feels this Board can help to further more of the best in the Tarot profession.
When Catherine Rowan picked up her first deck of Tarot cards at the age of 16, she had no idea of the impact it would cause in her life. Now a practicing Witch of almost twenty years, Catherine has been reading Tarot professionally for the last twelve years as a private consultant and more recently on psychic lines, fairs, and parties.
Certified with the ABTC, Catherine also holds a BS in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, and an AA in General Studies (with a concentration in Computers) from Washtenaw Community College where she graduated Phi Theta Kappa. This means that Catherine can correctly intuit where her anger is generating from before pitching the offending computer out of her office window!
Catherine resides in Northwest Illinois with her wife Josie, their two dogs and currently four cats.
Mr. Lambert, 42, is a graduate of American College of Technology, Bloomington, Illinois and brings a business orientation and customer service focus to ABTC. He is an experienced consultant, having worked for several Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Lambert lives in Ohio and is divorced with one son, Richard, 18. Mr. Stowell studied Applied Computer Science at Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, and continues to keep apace with changing technology. His work with the ABTC includes the design and maintenance of its web site and membership database, as well as any other matters involving technology. He is also an experiences Tarot reader, reading for the last 37 years. Mr. Stowell resides in Chicago, Illinois.
